About me

I am working as a Senior Research Engineer at FotoNation where I worked on Driver and Occupant Monitoring System (DMS & OMS) for a major German car manufacturer. Currently I am working on In-Cabin Monitoring system with the help of alternative sensing which includes thermal, neuro-morphic (event based) and mmWave sensors.

Before that I have completed my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Michael Schukat, Dr. Rachael McDonnell and Prof Peter Corcoran at the C3Imaging - University of Galway, Galway, Ireland. Earlier, I worked as a Reaearch Assistant in the same lab for 4 months. I am interested in synthetic face data generation and analysis, adversarial domain adaptation, face reconstruction, head pose estimation and monocular depth estimation. My PhD was sponsored by D-Real SFI CRT scholarship and with the industry partner Xperi Corpotation.

Prior to that, I have completed my Masters in Data Analytics from School of Computer Science at the University of Galway. During my masters dissertation I have worked on Combining Enternal Knowledege in a text classification task supervised by Dr. Matthias Nickles.

During my undergraduate I have worked on hand pattern recognition as biometric identification using stereo image matching under the supervision of Prof Biswa Nath Chaterji.

Before that I have worked as a Software Developer and Data Engineer for more than six years in Cognizant Technology Solution Ltd.
